When Martina Landolt went into business with a physio colleague in an 8-square-metre room in Uster ZH at the beginning of 2010, she did not expect a quick success. But several doctors recommended the new practice to their patients. The reason: thanks to the access to the neighbouring fitness centre, the therapists were able to offer so-called active therapy, i.e. targeted training instead of purely passive treatment on the physio bed.
The effectiveness of active therapy has been scientifically proven. Nevertheless, many practices lack the expensive but necessary infrastructure. Together with her husband Christoph Landolt, Martina Landolt therefore decided to set up large centres where patients could experience optimal, modern physiotherapy.
Together with Christoph and Dr. Sara Hürlimann – the founders of Zahnarztzentrum.ch, the largest dental medicine provider in Switzerland – the entrepreneurial couple founded Physiozentrum.ch AG in 2011. The concept is always the same at all locations: The entire spectrum of physiotherapy in one place and in high quality.
